Day 3 in Paradise

Day 3 in Paradise was also the 4th of July! We started off day 3 by going to the beach again. This time we did some boogie boarding as well as swimming.

The coral was a little rough on the feet in some places at this beach.

As we were leaving we noticed the warning signs that were posted.

That evening, we drove to Honolulu for the 4th of July fireworks. We walked to Waikiki beach from the parking lot and found many neat things, like these interesting trees, along the way:

My hair is on fire!!

This statue was outside of the Honolulu Hilton at the entrance to Waikiki beach.

So were the flamingos.

We got to Waikiki beach just in time for a great sunset.

The beach was full by the time it was dark for the fantastic fireworks show.
