Day 1 in paradise

Our connecting flight in SF was delayed so we ended up switching to a direct flight from Denver to Honolulu which saved us 2 hours of travel time. Even better, we were upgraded to an emergency row aisle in economy plus making that 7 hour flight even more pleasurable!! While in the airport we saw Denver Nuggets star Chauncey Billups as well. It was a long, but fun travel day.

When we arrived in Hawaii it was 3pm local time (7pm MST). It was great to see Paul, Holly, and Kyle again. They have a great home with a very short walk to the beach!! We couldn't wait to head to the beach as we missed it so much since moving from Oregon. Here are some photos of our first day on Oahu:
